Are there some very cool spots in your city or your town that you could market for visitors? Do you tell wonderful stories, could you envision yourself providing walking tours for folks through various spots of your town? Or, do you love to travel? If you love traveling you might fit right in as a tour director.
There are Tour Operators that will hire you to take their guests on guided tours. Perhaps starting this position on a cruise line, at local battlefields, trains, boats, and other historic sites will be a great place to start. If you have experience traveling or you’re willing to learn you can pursue several positions that are ready for you; or, you can create your own private tour company with effective marketing.
